Regarding our employees and their families, CFR actions are focused on promoting healthy life and preventive medicine through programs with external companies, including summer activities for children and gym programs. In the medical area, our employees and their families have several benefits including agreements with medical entities, delivery of free medical samples on prescription and health expense bonuses, among other.
CFR has always been close to the community, and permanently participates in preventive health campaigns aiming to healthier lifestyle; and in humanitarian campaigns through community service and medicine donations. In the medical community area, CFR has a significant participation through the permanent delivery of information, new technologies and trends, and the encouragement of research activity through donations and agreements with medical entities. CFR also delivers significant support to patients in their different treatment stages, initially through economic help for medication purchase and then through support during rehabilitation.
In the environmental area, CFR implements all measures required by the corresponding standards and beyond, by contributing with self-imposed measures that make the Company contribute with pollution reduction. An example of the above is the water purifying systems at the manufacturing plants, which delivers purified air to the nearby communities, and the development of a bio-remedy product that helps reducing organic matter of marine and lake bottoms, thus achieving harmony between the industry’s economic growth and the environment’s balance.
